EnviroTeach Editions

This edition of EnviroTeach is, once again, specifically based on the theme of water. People and cultures can differ greatly. However, one of the things we all have in common is water. Water is not only important to us because we cannot live without it, but because it also gives us pleasure and is an important part of our spiritual practices.

In the past, many editions of EnviroTeach were designed for Intermediate Phase or Senior Phase teachers. This time however, the edition is meant for Foundation Phase teachers. During 2003, the Foundation Phase teachers will be lucky enough to be trained in the implementation of the Revised National Curriculum Statement and this 2003 Water EnviroTeach has been designed for that purpose. On pages 21 and 22 you will find an insert on case studies where you can see what other teachers have been doing to implement the theme of water in their classrooms. Have fun!
