Who and what is the Delta Environmental Centre?

The editorial framework, content and co-ordination of the development of each edition is handled by Delta Environmental Centre (DEC).

DEC is an NGO (non-governmental organisation), an NPO (non-profit organisation) and a PBO (Public Benefit Organisation) whose core business is environmental education, training and consultation.

DEC is based in Delta Park, Johannesburg.

As an accredited training provider with the ETDP-SETA (Education, Training and Development Practice - Sector Education and Training Authority), DEC has interacted with officials from several government departments at all levels, parastatals, and has offered accredited training to  a wide range of educators. This experience has placed  DEC in a good position to develop suitable EnviroTeach editorial.

Because of DEC's PBO status, companies that provide financial support for an edition of EnviroTeach, will be issued with an 18A receipt for income tax purposes.

DEC has a current BB-BEE Rating from Empowerdex of a 100% Black Beneficiary Analysis which will enable companies to score valuable SED points if they support the production of an edition of EnviroTeach.
